Jane Karuku is a corporate executive with over twenty-five years’ experience in Telecommunications, Non-profits and in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs). She is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the East Africa Breweries Limited. Previously, she has served as the managing director of Cadbury Schweppes, Deputy Chief Executive and Secretary General of Telkom Kenya, President of the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Kenya (AGRA) and managing director of Kenya Breweries Limited, a subsidiary of EABL.
Karuku has served as a non-executive director of Barclays Bank of Kenya, currently known as Absa bank , from 2003 until 2014. She also serves on the board of East African Breweries as well as sits as the Chairperson of Kenya vision 2030 Board .
Distinctly, she has volunteered as Trustee at the United States International University Africa and of a non-governmental initiative, Precious sisters, to support and empower underprivileged girls through education.
