Mike Eldon is the founder chairman and lead consultant of The DEPOT (The Dan Eldon Place Of Tomorrow), a management consultancy that focuses on leadership, strategy, change management, culture strengthening, performance management and coaching. He is also sought after as a speaker and writer on these and other topics.

He has a keen interest to see women at their best .Where he is the chair, he has more influence with getting more women on the boards and also ensuring those who are there have a voice. When he joined Rotary, women were not allowed to join Rotary and their boards. He led the campaign to include women and recommended Evelyn to be the first lady member and then lady President.He transformed Rotary, bringing in 50% of a population that was excluded. At the beginning, senior members wanted to resign and it took two years to get them to agree.

He is the chairman of Occidental Insurance and an independent director of Davis & Shirtliff. He is a member of the Advisory Council of AFIDEP (the African Institute for Policy Development); and a co-founder of the Institute for Responsible Leadership. He has been recognized as one of the 25 most influential chairman in Kenya by Business Monthly Magazine.
