Patrick Obath is a Mechanical Engineer by profession with over 35 years’ working experience in senior management positions and a wide experience in the oil & energy industry.

Notably, he is well thought out in supporting women in leadership in various spaces and organizations’. He ensures organizations’ strategy reflect the market where women form 50% of it and more. He has a database of women where he makes referrals for opportunities he comes up with and also asks for referrals from WOBN e.g. in the Golf Kenya Open; he upheld to get a female onto the board because he believes that it is about running an event, and not a man’s event which needs a female touch more than ever.

He has extensive experience serving in diverse boards. He serves on boards of various NSE listed companies as well as public and non-profit institutions in Kenya. He is the chairman of the board at LVCT Health; A trustee at Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), formerly chairman of the board; The Managing Consultant in Eduardo & Associates; A Fellow of the African Leadership Initiative-East Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
