This award recognizes an organization (or an organization’s program) or an individual (and their organization), who has made outstanding contributions in the rural communities of Kenya, by developing the economic, social and political potential of women at the grassroot level.

The organization should have taken on a social action, given back, or has positively contributed to their community in an exceptional and impactful way.
