The Hope Beyond Foundation rescues and provides hope to children and victims of female genital mutilation (FGM), childhood marriage, and abuse; they reintegrate children into communities and stable families while working with the society large.
In a bid to end FGM ,child marriage and abuse, Dorcus Parit, Founder and Director of Hope Beyond Foundation works closely with the local administration and the police department in the successful arrest of criminals aiding in the cultural malpractices. In addition, they take part in organizing workshops for the communities; to disseminate information on the harmful effects of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), to educate women on their rights and to empower women to take up their space in elevating their social economic status within the community through talent and skill.
Besides, In partnership with Just One Africa the foundation supports the community through supplying clean water for Kajiado County residents to ensure access of clean water and reduction of water borne diseases.
