This award recognizes a woman who has enhanced the visibility and importance of women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) both in the public and private sectors.

It acknowledges women in STEM that make a difference in other people’s lives, great role models, women who are unafraid of challenges and want a life of innovation.

The aim of the Woman in STEM Awards is to celebrate and support the achievements of women in science, and all those who work to encourage girls and young women to engage with STEM subjects and who work to support women to stay in STEM careers.
